History of Kittycat Empties

This post is really about photos. I got this idea from a wonderful fellow blogger.
Of all the kickass bras that I can not wear anymore, due to my small tits.
Ok, I know for men this post will not be all that exciting, ok so maybe even for the female readers it might not be all that entertaining.
But it is such a waste of money and well quite frankly fabric to just have these beauties sitting in my drawer with the possibility of  slim to none that they will ever get worn again.
At least not in the near future.


So I share with you the “empties”.
Ahhhhhhhhhhh, aren't they just magnificent!
Too bad you can’t feel the material. They were all awesome to wear o n c e.
Now all I have are these. This is what is left.
Just the itty bitty titty bras.



It this or the a sports bra. Kinda gotta laugh about it all. I feel like the photo actually makes them look bigger than they really are.

Having to give up the boobs for the muscles. Oh well. I guess I'm ok with it after all.

Off to see the Wizard

The Wizard of Oz has always been one of my favorite movies.
I know for some kids, this movie is a little scary.
The witch to be exact.



Not to me.

I never found her to be "scary" I saw it as a challange. I wanted to see bad ass Dorothy kick her bitchy ass.

Anyways, theres just something about traveling to some place mystical in search for a "miracle".

Everyone can relate to that.
To be given a pair of "Ruby Red Slippers" that wards off all evil.



Who the hell doesnt want that.

At some point, weve all been in search for a miracle.

We all want to go to "OZ" to see the purple horse.

I myself have been on a journey to see the "Wizard".
So to speak.



One of my favorite parts in the movie is where they are in OZ and travel down that lo n g corridor to see the Wizard.

and Toto pulls back the curtain and the Wizard says "Ignore that man behind the curtain".
Cause if they knew he really didnt have any mystical powers, well then their long journey was for n o t h i n g.

When ulitmately not only was it a dream. but truth be told you really just need to look within to find your miracle.

This movie is an inspiration. To remind people to keep going. Keep looking and never give up.
Eventually you will find that "miracle" you seek.

Now in my case there still is no cure for my disease.
but
I have been in remisison for a year now.
so,
Its hard not to look at that as a Miracle.

So heres to an amazing movie.
That has helped me keep dreaming that some day there will be a cure.

Happy 60th birthday, Dad!

My dad turns 60 today! This is a photo of his family when he was growing up--he's the oldest of six kids, and you can see him at the top (in his rad roll-neck sweater).

Dad, we love you so much! You light up a room; you're always up for anything, from rainy bike rides to museum adventures to rousing games of Taboo; and, most of all, you make us all feel so safe and protected. (Maybe it's that whole James Bond thing.) I feel so lucky to be both your daughter and your friend.

Would ya.......................

Have you ever thought about just walking away?
From everything.
Your life as you know it.
For something/someone else.
Start a new life.
Kinda a scary thought.
But people do it all the time.
The internet for instance.
 People meet on line.
People meet thru blogs.
 and
 then they start a relationship.
 With someone they have never met
 in person.
Sometimes it goes somewhere
and sometimes not.
Sometimes the feelings are
 so strong that they travel
to meet each other.
I personally have never
traveled to meet anyone,
but I do know people who have.
It seems so exciting.
Almost like a romance novel no.
There have been times in my life
where I thought
about walking away.
Not for anyone.
Just to run away from my problems.
You hear all the time about people just disappearing and there is no evident foul play. These people for whatever reason couldnt handle their life anymore. and they just up and walked away.
I know these are two different things,
but ultimately the same.
 Its all about walking away from the life you have for something or someone else.
Where either you felt your life was so terrible that you just had to leave or you met someone that you felt life with them was worth walking away.
I'm not writing about this cause
I am going anywhere.
I'm just saying I get it.
I understand it.
and it happens more
then you want to admit.
