Black Falcon by Falcon Motorcycles

http://www.falconmotorcycles.com/
This is the Black Falcon, the third in a planned run of ten concept bikes from Falcon Motorcycles. Like its predecessors, the Bullet and the Kestrel, it blurs the boundaries between motorcycling, industrial design and sculpture.
Love it!Source URL: https://juffryjeanses.blogspot.com/search/label/art

Dancing

Isn't this photo of a dancing couple lovely? The print would look beautiful framed (or wrapped up with a red bow as a wedding present).Source URL: https://juffryjeanses.blogspot.com/search/label/art

Swedish optical illusion

Swedish artist Erik Johansson created this incredible optical illusion in a Stockholm city square. The ravine looks so real, it gives me goosebumps!

Embroidered portraits

Daniel Kornrumpf's embroidered portraits blow my mind. Can you imagine how long they would take? I love the incredible detail, like wayward mustache hairs and hungover eyes.

P.S. Motherhood Monday post coming up!

What a honour!

Roberto Totti non ha bisogno di presentazioni! Le sue creazioni ed i riconoscimenti ottenuti parlano da soli.

Parisian potholes

Artist Juliana Santacruz Herrera walks around Paris and patches up cracks in the street with braids of colorful yarn. Aren't they lovely? See more here.

The invisible man

Chinese photographer Liu Bolin is meticulously covered in paint so that he disappears into his surroundings. Apparently, it can take up to 10 hours to prepare for a single shot. Aren't his photographs mind-blowing?! You can barely see him!

P.S. Remember these painted people?

Or Glory 21st Century Rockers by Horst A. Friedrichs

With their tattoos, leather jackets, slicked-back hair, and beloved British motorbikes Rockers are the nemesis and antithesis of the fastidiously groomed Mods. Elvis, James Dean and Marlon Brando made rocker style synonymous with rebellion, sparking a global cult. Friedrichs follows the British rocker tribe as its members congregate in parking lots, pubs, cafes, dance and pool halls, as well as huge gatherings at Jacks Hill and Ace Cafe.
Horst A. Friedrichs was born in Frankfurt in 1966. He graduated from the Munich Film Academy and, since 1990, has worked as a free-lance photojournalist for clients such as Geo, Stern, Merian, Der Spiegel, Die Zeit and The New York Times. He has travelled extensively and worked in Venezuela, Pakistan, Mali, Japan and many other regions.

In 1997, Friedrichs moved to London where he now lives and works. Friedrichs' pictures have been shown at exhibitions in England, Austria, Germany, Morocco and Greece. Friedrichs has been represented by the Anzenberger Agency since 2005.

Embroidered book covers

How breathtakingly gorgeous are these embroidered book covers by Jillian Tamaki? She made them for Penguin Books, and rumor has it that they'll be available this fall. SO beautiful. (I'm sure Jane Austen would have wholeheartedly approved. I love Emma's little freckles!)

P.S. More + amazing + book covers.
